Driving/walking Around In Kauai Island, Hawai-UHD 4K

Driving/walking around in Kauai Island, you will see the Spouting Horn, the Poipu Beach Park and other beaches, Maluhia Road Tree Tunnel, Wailua Falls etc.

Spouting Horn: features a blowhole that’s one of the most photographed spots on Kauai, (water forced through a lava tube produces hissing and a plume of spray);

The Poipu Beach Park: on Kauai’s south shore, was once voted “America’s Best Beach.”

Maluhia Road Tree Tunnel : These pictures are not as great as you have seen from the movies, but it is quite unique, the scenery truly looks like it is from another time and another world. We went through it couple of times, once we had center view, the other I had camera on the site.

Wailua Falls: the waterfalls are beautiful, visble from the roadside viewing area although there is unforunately not much else up this road. There is limited parking with a small turn-around area..

Boat Tour Along Na Pali Coast, Kauai, Hawai-UHD 4K

No trip to Kauai is complete without seeing the Na Pali Coast, a must do in Kauai. We took a boat tour sailing along the coast of Na Pali, along the way we saw lots of sea life (such as turtles, dolphins), and waterfalls. The coast was so dramatic that is why Pirates of the Caribbean and King Kong had scenes shot there.

Have you ever seen a cave with an open ceiling? The sea caves along the Na Pali Coast are formed from the harsh wave action of the Pacific Ocean slamming into the porous lava. The first cave is actually a hollowed-out lava tube, and may have served as a place where ancient Hawaiians could rest in their canoes when traveling along the coast. We do not know what the early Hawaiians called this cave, hence the “Open Ceiling Cave” best describes it. This natural cathedral boasts turquoise blue water, massive walls, and a bright sunlit interior. On calm days, people can safely enter the Open Ceiling Cave in small boats. The interior is large enough to circle around and treat passengers to a view of the sky above through the enormous open ceiling.

The second cave we show you is long and deep. When we reached the end, it was pitch dark.

Kauai is millions of years older than the other inhabited islands in the Hawaiian island chain. To be honest, it does not offer the quantity or quality of snorkeling spots of say the Big Island or Maui — you may not find the coral to be colorful and exotic, although there is no doubt that the natural beauty of this location adds to the enjoyment of the snorkeling. Kauai is beautiful, and you can certainly enjoy being in the water, but don’t have great expectations for what you will see under the water. (And this is the only slightly negative thing we have to say about this gorgeous place.)

Niagara Falls-Horseshoe Falls-American Falls-Bridal Veil Falls

Niagara Falls-Horseshoe Falls-American Falls-Bridal Veil Falls

Niagara Falls are probably the most famous waterfalls in the world. From largest to smallest, the three waterfalls are the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls lie mostly on the Canadian side and the American Falls entirely on the American side, separated by Goat Island. The smaller Bridal Veil Falls are also located on the American side, separated from the other waterfalls by Luna Island.

While not exceptionally high, the Niagara Falls are very wide. More than 6 million cubic feet (168,000 m3) of water falls over the crest line every minute in high flow, and almost 4 million cubic feet (110,000 m3) on average.

Elephant Seal Tour @ Ano Nuevo State Park

Elephant Seal Tour At Ano Nuevo State Park

Have you heard about the annual elephant seal migration to the beaches of Año Nuevo State Reserve?
Highly recommend the Ano Nuevo State Park and check out the elephant seal tour. It is only $7 per person (plus state park parking $10).

These massive creatures were only a few feet away and they did not notice us. Females giving birth, pups nursing from their mother and bull males fighting one another. This is amazing experience to see & hear the bulls braying & throwing their massive weight around while claiming their turf & protecting their harem.

Some people have lived in California for over many years and never visited this park. If you live in Bay Area you have no excuse not to visit Ano Nuevo.
The tour covers approximately 3.5 miles and about 2 to 3 hours so be prepared to bring water (but no food allowed). You should book your tour online beforehand since they fill up quickly, especially on the weekends.
