Easiest & Cheapest Way To Fix an Overheated Laptop In 30 seconds

It is very difficult to open a laptop for cleaning without damaging the computer. Overheated laptop is very common. Overheating can cause a lot of problems, from seemingly random blue screens to data loss. In this video, I will show the simplest way to do it, anyone can do it. And it is the easiest, fastest & cheapest way.

Just one caution about the fan, don’t aim the air directly at the fan and give it a long blast. Instead, blow air in short bursts, waiting in between to ensure you’re not spinning the fan too quickly.

Also you may want to leave the computer off and in a warm dry location for some time before booting, this is to allow any residual moisture (if any) to evaporate.

Part 2, Google Voice Shutdown 3rd Party VoIP Interface

Part 2, Google Voice Shutdown 3rd Party VoIP Interface

This is a follow up of the first video, nothing has changed from Google, so you still need to act. Google Voice is going to shutdown the XMPP VoIP interface for 3rd party products such as ATA (for example Obihai device) or GrooVeIP app. This will happen after May 15, 2014. So at minimum you need to do something about it because after that date those 3rd party products will not be working.
While Google voice is still free through other interfaces, this will cause some inconvenience. The goal is to have free or very cheap voice services.

While Google voice is still free, this will cause some inconvenience. At the end of this video, I will give you one solution. Since we still have some time before May 20014, this video will focus on the big picture such as what is Google Voice, what is VoIP and how do they work. If needed, I will compare different alternatives in another video. The goal is to have free or very cheap voice services. This video also is a good starting point for people who want to cut the phone cord, stop paying your phone bill and move to something free or cheaper.

Amazon Web Service, Part 1 Beanstalk

What is cloud services? What is horizontal scaling?
I will use an example of porting a website onto Amazon’s Web Services (AWS) to explain various basic services.
We use Beanstalk as an example because Beanstalk is easy to setup in the beginning. However Beanstalk is not as flexible, so if you are more serious on using it, you will need to play around EC2, RDS, S3, auto balancer and autoscaling in detail, which will the topics of our next video.
